The Yangshuo Climbing Festival is held annually on a weekend in August/September/October/November (TBA, 2020). Hundreds of people from all over the world are attracted by the festival because Yangshuo boasts a famous and well-exploited karst landscape, and is considered as China’s number one “paradise for climbing”.

About the Organizer
Alex (何凌轩 He Lingxuan/her ling-sshwen/) was brought into the world in Guilin in 1981. He began to gain moving from a Canadian in 2001, and participated in the China Climbing Title in the next year. He catapulted a few courses in Yangshuo with unfamiliar climbers and arrived at the grade of 5.13. His climbing outfit was laid out in 2002 and coordinated the principal Yangshuo Climbing Celebration in 2008.
As a specialist, Alex got approval from UIAA (Association Worldwide Snow capped Affiliations). On May eighteenth, 2003, French “Spiderman” Jean-Michel Casanova climbed the Bailong Lift in Zhangjiajie with no assistance from any apparatus, security net, or wellbeing hardware. Alex was welcome to plan a salvage plan for the bluff, and commentated on a live Television program.

- Six-time world speed climbing record holder, and all time best in his class
- He is multiple times victor of the big showdowns and has broken world records commonly.
- In 2012 he came out on top for the Chinese public climbing title in the speed classification, and positioned number one in general.
- He is perhaps of the greatest star in Chinese climbing, and is known for making China a top country in the cutthroat climbing world.
