Sisters Meals Festival

Kaili, Apr. 15 to 17, 2022

Lusheng Festival

The lusheng is a customary Chinese reed instrument. Lusheng Celebration in Kaili, Guizhou is the most persuasive and most stupendous of the Miao nationality celebrations.

The young ladies spruce up in their best outfits and emblematic silver hats, while the young men convey their lusheng to play at the Lusheng Arena.

Dragon Canoe Festival

Shidong, Jun. 22 to 25, 2022

Mythical serpent Kayak Celebration is one of the four significant conventional celebrations of the Miao public. Huge scope conventional exercises are held during the celebration, including mythical serpent boat races, kayak races, and post-race occasions.

The Miao New Year Festival

Leishan, Oct. 25, 2022

Different from traditional Chinese New Year, Miao New Year is often celebrated after the rice harvest, and usually lasts 5–15 days. People worship their ancestors, play the lusheng (a reed instrument), and visit their neighboring villages during the festival.
